Cactus Rose Restaurant

It is beauty of an interior. Love to visit and use patio sometime. We ate at time between lunch and dinner and were well treated. I used to reside in Santa fe NM and it reminded me of the great dining out there. Margaritas delicious.

The food is delicious and it's a nice setting. Service is very willing (but could use a little more polish - don't stack dirty dishes on the table when you're clearing and don't ask many times if everything is ok). Shrimp entree was delicious. Desserts are ok.

Amazing margaritas! Great food. Service is always good. Lupe, the bartender is awesome! And Katarina and Maria, the owners are very sweet!

The food was good and the waitresses was fanamimal. You couldn't ask for a better waitress. We made reservations the previous day expecting to have a good table when we got there we were asked if we had a reservation and we then asked if we would want to sit at the bar like we were not good enough for a table which there were a few open. Then got seated at the worst table in front the kitchen and the entrance to the bar.

This Mexican style restaurant always has fresh food and terrific customer service. The bar is a nice place to get a cocktail or beer and an appetizer. The outdoor dining adds a bit of charm to the experience. I recommend this place for happy hour with friends and co-workers.

Everyone in my party of nine loved their food choices, from the appetizers to the entrees, and at reasonable prices. Servers were cheery. Considering the number of people at our table, our orders came relatively soon and beautifully presented. The one mar(which cost the restaurant a star by this reviewer): servers brought the wrong orders to the wrong patrons. Twice. For the appetizer course and entrees. That's a big no-no for a place that otherwise excels in delicious food, plate presentation, and willingness to please.

My girlfriend and I visited Cactus Rose this evening and had a wonderful time. Maria, the owner, pays so much attention to detail and it shows in everything: the food, the decor, the service and the overall experience couldn’t have been better. I recommend Cactus Rose to anyone visiting the Wilton, CT area. Don’t miss the fresh guacamole and the awesome margaritas. If you like tequila, this is the place for you!!

Only went for lunch, but pretty fast and nice service. The salmon on the salad was really great, I enjoyed the crispy skin especially, but it was a bit hard to cut with just my butter knife. The southwest salad was well chopped, and had great flavor but I had a hard time getting the beans and etc with each bite.

Pretty pricey. Guacamole was seasoned just right but the salt from the chips made it too salty when eaten together. Steak skewers were amazing. Drinks were balanced, not too strong but good flavor.

Stopped in for a drink at the bar. Bartender Viviana was professional and friendly. Pretty cool atmosphere.

Very nice spot with an extensive menu of both food and drinks. Cactus Rose has a unique spin on Mexican food that I haven't really seen before while still having all the staples. It's really nice to sit outside here and enjoy a margarita when the weather is good. Guacamole is a must of course and I tried the mango margarita (surprisingly strong!). I got the Guava BBQ Glazed Wild Salmon for my entree which comes with moro rice, fried banana and a lemon grass-citrus sauce. The guava BBQ sauce and the banana make this dish a little more on the sweet side but I'm a big fan of that so I definitely enjoyed it. Good area and plenty of parking so you don't have to worry about that here at all!

Maria the owner is super sweet! Always makes sure you’re greeted when you walk in. The staff is amazing. They are full of energy & just super positive. The food is delicious & the margaritas of course, lupe knows how to make them great. The atmosphere is nice also. They have a great outside patio that is fantastic during the summer. If you’re in the general area & looking for a place to eat. This is definitely the place to stop by. I think you’ll enjoy the experience.
